Coining (V-cut form) on the pillar sides
The most critical aspect of the cage is the contacting side configuration of the pillar of the cage.The contacting side of the cage pillar needs to have a tangential form with the roller Diameter with suitable clearance & with a smooth surface.This is achieved by using suitable tooling & the similar automatic indexing type presses. Mainly on this point, the company has achieved its perfection.
The arrow shows the V- cut form (coining) of the sides of pillar of the cage. The smoothened side surfaces also have tangential contact with the roller OD surface,to avoid any friction & provide a smooth rotation.
The arrow mark shows the special V-Cut form (Coining) on the side of pillar which is contact surface of cage with Roller.
